The Happy Dales Montessori Story

Happy Dales Montessori was established by Treasa Commins in 2011 at 30 Annadale Drive, Marino. I hold a Montessori Diploma from AMI in Milltown. I have also completed FETAC Level 6 Supervision in Childcare and FETAC Level 5 Childcare. I am a qualified First Aider with a Red Cross Certificate. Happy Dales is registered with and approved by Tusla (Child and Family Agency, formally HSE). We also participate in the ECCE scheme.

I first began my Montessori career in Auckland, New Zealand in 2004. It was here my passion for early education really took off. I had the privilege of working in a wonderful school with extremely encouraging teachers. We used the Te Whariki Early Childhood Curriculum which Siolta and Aistear frameworks are based on. When I returned to Ireland I worked locally in Glasnevin and Marino until 2011. It was then I set out to achieve my long term dream of opening my own school. I was motivated to provide a home based environment to facilitate the young child’s transition into education. I endeavour to  create a warm, calm, nurturing environment for every child. With class sizes limited to 14 we are able to work with each child individually and adhere to their needs.

I hope you will make contact if you have any questions and don’t forget to head over to our Facebook page to get a insight into the adventures of Happy Dales Montessori.
